The organisers of the Stanwick Village Races have given due consideration to the ongoing situation with regard to COVID 19, and have reluctantly decided that they have no option but to cancel the Annual Easter Monday 10K and 2K Races scheduled to take place on Monday, 5th April 2021.

The Stanwick Races Group has a duty of care to the Village, the competitors, their friends and families, and strongly believes that, as it stands at the moment, it will not be safe to proceed.  The safety of everyone concerned is paramount.

The group is constantly reviewing the rules and advice available, and as soon as it is considered safe to reinstate the event, an announcement of the revised date will be posted on the Stanwick Village Races Facebook page, and on the website

It is hoped that it may be possible to reorganise the race to take place later this year.

Those competitors who had entered the 2020 event and had their entry carried forward should note that their entry will still be valid and that they will be notified of any new date in due course.
